My Priorities

Prioritize managing the district's budget in a responsible and transparent manner, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently, effectively, and in the right areas. My finance background will be instrumental in helping manage the district’s growth, bond funding obligations, and being a good steward of the district’s debt.

It is essential for both students and staff that the board create and maintain a safe and secure learning environment. This includes physical safety measures, such as building & facility security as well as teacher & administrator preparedness. In addition, we should promote a positive school culture and prioritize proactive measures with anti-bullying initiatives while also enforcing current disciplinary policy to ensure a positive and safe environment for all.

The board must prioritize setting high academic standards while providing support to help all students achieve and prepare them for academic success in college and their career.

Supporting and retaining high-quality educators is a top priority of mine. We need them to feel that they are supported by district leadership and ensure they have access to the resources needed to be successful in their roles.  Great teachers are vital for student success.

One of the board’s most important responsibilities is being a bridge between the school and the home environment. Fostering a strong partnership with parents based in trust & transparency is key — ensuring that they are informed, involved, and engaged in their children's education.
